10. The equilibrium constant K = [COCl2 ] / [CO] [Cl2]

the concentration at equilibrium can be directly correlated to the number of molecules of each species present in the molecular art. Thus K > 1 as number of COCl2 (trigonal planar shaped) molecules is much larger than that of CO and Cl2 (both linear).

11. A hypertonic solution is a solution that has a greater concentration of solutes on the outside of the cell when compared with the inside of the cell. Thus by osmosis water diffuses out of the cell and it shrinks in a process called crenation.
