nd-use equipment was knocked off line 30 times in 9 months, but there were only ity substation breaker. Once power problems occur, the end user is quick to five operations on the util complain to the events on the e utility of an "outage" or "glitch". However, the utility records indicate no abnormal feed to the eustomer. Can you explain why this happens?

This can have several reasons :

a) There maybe issue with the elctronic / electriclal part of the equipment at the user end that may have reulted from capacitor switching that is though usual for UTILITY but not for the user end device which may have suffered from overvoltage due to this switching of Capacitors .

b) There might have been fault at some other point of the power system that have caused the voltage to sag briefly at the consumers end .

c) The Relay and sensors installed might have malfunctioned or have become outdated , so causing poor sensing and signalling of the circuit breakers whenver the user end equipment was knocked off .
