(a) From small angle approximation, we have

y = m\lambdaL / d

The path difference is given as

\Deltax = \phi\lambda / 2\pi

so,

\phi = 2\pidy / \lambdaL

\phi = 2\pi * 15e-6 * 2.7e-3 / 590e-9 * 1.9

\phi = 0.227 radians

(c) I am not sure about this part, but I do know that for 2 slits, the intensity Io and I are related as

I = 4Iocos2 (\phi / 2)

so, from here we can solve for Io

I am getting it as

Io = 21.53 W/m2
