residential load:

since demand factor=50%, maximum load by each resident=0.5*20 KW=10 kW.

and DF=Sum of Individual Maximum Demands / Maximum Demand of the System

total maximum demand=(10*200/3.2)=625 kW

residential load maximum demand on its feeder=625/1.5=416.6667 kW

Business load:

since demand factor=60%, maximum load by it=0.6*200 KW=120 kW

Maximum demand=(120/1.4)=85.714 kW

business load feeder had demand=85.714/1.2=71.42833

peak demand of city substation=416.667+71.42833=488 kW
