Answer #1

Answer

(A) Population of interest is university students because the sample size is also taken from the university student and a sample is selected, consisting of 500 students.

(B) Yes, we will expect nearly 15% of 500 students to be satisfied with the parking because 20% of 500 is a big enough sample that we can assume as a normally distributed sample

20% of 500 = 0.2*500 = 100

so, it is more than 30, we can assume it to be large enough

(C) statistic is numerical value which gives us information about the sample and parameter is numerical value which gives us information about population

So, 15% is a statistic because it gives us information about the sample with size n = 500
