1)Benefits of BIM in structural analysis :

i) Productivity:

Construction documentation can be done easily, even it helps in reducing error margins.

ii) Visualization and Simulation :

It provides a clear structural idea which will help to communicate easily about the design besides it provides good project insights and facilitates in problem solving and idea enhancing processes. It stimulate and visualize in the forth dimension.

iii) Coordination :

It provides the structural design in an easy-to-use nd shareable way besides steel, pre cast concrete etc can easily coordinated with it.

iv) Maintains the construction costs:

It have high ability to improve understanding and cross coordination between different parties working together and helps in reducing costs.

2) Esteem is a structural software which is mainly designed to provide integrated solutions for structural analysis. It provides a 3-d model view for better Visualization. Besides this it focuses on analysis(sub frames analysis, national horizontal load etc) and design (floor slabs, shear wall, pad base etc).
