a) I will use XRF analysis. This is because, XRF analysis is efficient in alloy identification. Thus it will jelp in identifying steel and its properties.

b)Advantages are :

It is a simple technique.

It is non destructive.

It is efficient

Disadvantages are:

It is a costly method.

It requires expert help.

It is very precise, which may lead to difficulties in identification

c)No sample preparation is required. X-ray radiation is passed into the sample and then readings are noted down
