HA1C also called as glycated hemoglobin, is haemoglobin with glucose attached. This test evaluates that average amount of glucose inside body over past three months.

In an individual before burn injury if HA1C is tested and for that individual if glucose is well managed,then the percentage for A1C is monitored. In normal individual the A1C level should be less than 5.7%.If the range is in between 5.7% to 6.4% the person is at risk.
