Angela, a 40 y/o female client, was admitted to the hospital for significant weakness which has
gotten worse over the last year. She attributed the symptoms to working long hours required as
part of her job as a chief executive officer (CEO) of a large corporation. When the symptoms
first started they would resolve with rest so she thought they were due to fatigue. Recently
Angela has had vision changes and difficulty urinating. The nurse has performed an assessment
and obtained the following data: weakness that had been getting worse, tremors, fatigue, slowed
speech, unsteady gait, blurred vision, and numbness.
Further testing shows that Angela has a brain tumor which is causing her symptoms. She takes a
leave of absence from work in order to have surgery to remove the tumor and fully recover.

Answer: After the brain surgery, Patients needs a lot of time to recover and it is depend upon the location of the skull where it has been operated. After the post brain surgery the caregivers give a list of instruction of do's and don'ts. The patient should follow those instructions.
Once the skull is open and operated, many of the rail factors can occurs. Sometimes Patients half of the body becomes paralyzed or little dysfunction occurs. The side effects also includes the lens of the eyes slightly shifted. Patient starts to behave little abnormal while in most of the cases it may not occurs. Patient may have speech problem as she will be unable to speak words clearly.
