For the given data, we have

Sample size = n = 20

Minimum = 96

Maximum = 150

Range = Maximum – Minimum = 150 – 96 = 54

Number of classes = 6

Class width = Range / Number of classes = 54/6 = 9

First class: Minimum to Minimum + 9

First class: 96 to 96 + 9 = 105

First class: 96 to 105

Then every class increases by 9

The required frequency distribution is given as below:
