Hydrolytic enzymes are present inside the lysosome.it is covered with a lipid bilayer having a long chain of fatty acid and a glycerol group and hydrophillic phosphate head

The hydrolytic enzymes present in the lysosome breakdown proteins , lipids, carbohydrates and nucleic acid which can be later on recycled and used by the cell again. the inside of the lysosome has hydrolytic enzymes which only are active at acidic pH.
