8. Here MRTS is the ratio between change in capital to change in labour. Between points A and B, the change in capital is -20( 80-100) and change in labour is 10 (60-50). Therefore MRTS = -20/10= 2.

9. Between points B and C the change in capital is -10(70-80) and change in labour is 40(100-60). Therefore the MRTS= -10/40=0.25.

10. Slope of isocost curve is the ratio of price of labour to price of capital i.e ratio of wages to rental price of capital. Here the slope of isocost curve is 300/300=1.

11. Higher isoquants represents higher output. Hence the isoquant 2 represents higher output.
