The study shows that the corlas of UAE are being killed as a result of increasing ocean warming. Human activities such as dredging and other construction work stress corals and add to coral loss. Rising temperatures cause corals to expel algae, which in turn leads to further damage to the coral. In future, as more corals die, the reef habitat will become less biodiverse. Because warming are happening so frequently, the coral does not have a chance to regrow. Globally, it seems the temperature increases and bleaching events are continuing for the foreseeable future.
