CBR value is the ratio of the load carried by the soil at 2.5 mm or 0.1 inch of penetration to the load carried by the standard soil at the same.

Standard load is 1370 kgs, or 3030.33 lbs.

Ao CBR value = 480/3030.33 = 0.158 = 15.8%
