The okay environment in this scenario can be stated to be a bedroom. Toddlers have moved on the from the Sensorimotor stage and the stage of development of trust. They are more inclined towards taking initiative and responding to their environment and engaging in parallel play. In such a situation, the room must be in a view that facilitate supervision and with safety equipments in order to prevent accidents which are common during the stage as children develop a closer relationship with objects and the environment. They must be free to experiment with the surroundings and must consists of okay materials such as blocks and picture books , along with crayons and boards. Language develops fully in this stage in a basis level and sensory stimulation such as interactive movies or calming music is necessary. Keep hazardous objects out if reach and ensure a specific place for each toy and activity so that the child can seek it out with it's own initiative.
