What is the role of resistor in gate of MOSFET? I tested running dc motor with MOSFET. Input was square wave and output from drain was different according to attaching resistor at gate of MOSFET or not. I found that, without resistor, the output was more stable.. Is it the right result? if not, what is theorically right answer and can you tell me the reason??

Ideally no current flows through gate but in practical cases, due to the impurities present in metal oxide layer (insulating medium) a very small current can flow through the gate. In this cases a small variation in gate voltages may happen due to voltage drop across the resistor connection in gate terminal. Due to this variation output may be unstable, but this effect is neglected.
