Answer #1

Early intervention and Child's milestones

Firstly I shall tell you a few details regarding a child's milestone. Following this, we will speak about the early intervention program and following that we shall attempt to answer the question listed here.

A child will acquire all his major milestones between birth to 3 years of age. Usually, this process unfolds naturally and shall not need any intervention. However, if a parent notices a delay in milestone then one shall refer their child to the nearest pediatrician regarding the same. In certain cases, milestones might delay, but the child might grow normally without any abnormalities. In such cases, a child is not supposed to receive any intervention. However, if a child has milestones delayed due to any genetic abnormality or illness except in cases as in ADHD then one might need early intervention program.

Early intervention program complies of a professional medical team including doctors and caretakers who engage in training kids in overcoming their limitations and leading a successful life thereafter.

Important milestones which need early intervention include learning, talking and interacting with others. All these milestones will not unfold by themselves and shall need intervention. Intervention shall be done either by parents or by the professional team.

All milestones cannot be taught. For instance, thinking is one of those cognitive skills which unfolds by itself. However basic training in different ways we think of a situation shall be taught to the child. Free thinking should be promoted to enable a child to think on self rather than implementing any basic structure on thinking.
