Tamorifen fight cancer by attaching to the cancer cell of its hormone receptor, tamoxifen blocks the estrogen hormone attaching to the receptor. Thus it slows the titumor growth. Due to the blockage of estrogen the cancer cells doesn't grow. @ Hormones are using to treat cancers such as breast and prostate cancers. In this the hormone are blocked so that cancer cells cannot grow and in some they slows the growth, In hormone therapy medicines block the hormone activity which helps the growth of tumor con stops the hormone secretion in the body. Hormone therapy not only blocks or stops the prodmione but also adde hormone which stops the broadth of the cancer cells.
