Heat loss by gold = heat gained by water

ΔH1= ΔH2

ΔH = m*c*ΔT

Where m= mass, c = specific heat capacity ΔT = temperature change

Note : specific heat capacity of water = 4.186J/gC

Specific heat capacity of gold = 0.129J/gC

Now, 0.129* 31.2g*(69.5-T) = 4.186*63.6g*(T-26.9)

279.7 - 4.02T =266.23T  -7161.58

270.25T = 7441.276

T= 27.53 C
