We can understand by a simple example suppose a resident doctors of medicine X done their post graduation under guidance of proffecer Y

So according to the doctrine of respondent superior Prof. Y is responsible for action of X but in case of borrowed servant doctrine the hospital which pays the resident salary are responsible for their actions
