Normal PCO2 is 35-45 mm of Hg.56 mm of Hg indicates respiratory acidosis.

Normal HCO3- is 22-26 mEq/L.32 mEq/L indicates there is metabolic compensation.

So answer is A.

The rate is 40 meq in 50 ml but if K+ concentration is more than 2.5 mEq/L the concentration should not exceed 40 mEq/L.In very severe patients ,the maximum concentration allowed is 20 mEq/50 ml.
