Given at equilibrium,

[COBr2] = 0.233

+1x = 0.233

x = 0.233

Equilibrium constant expression is

Kc = [COBr2]/[CO][Br2]

Kc = (+1x)/(0.5-1x)(0.4-1x)

Kc = (+1*0.233)/(0.5-1*0.233)(0.4-1*0.233)
