Answer #1

1) The NMR spectrum shows: a doublet with integration of 2H, a triplet with integration of 2H and a triplet with integration of 1 H. This is a characteristic spectrum of monosubstituted benzene

2) IR spectrum shows

weak peak at 3053 (could be C-H from arene or alkene)

Medium peak at 1694 (could be C=C from alkene or arene)

weak peak at 1418 (could be C-H in-plane bend)

Strong peak at 1285 (could be C-H in-plane bend from alkene or arene)

strong peak at 740 (characetrstic of arene)

Based on NMR and IR spectra the compound is a monosubstituted Benzene.
