Conservationists typically supported efforts to conserve resources, recognizing that they were not finite and humans depended on nature for survival. Preservationists supported the notion that nature was more than just a resource to meet the demands of a consumer society. It was valuable in its pristine condition, and parts of it should escape development. When talking about this, there is a video included to talk about. John Muir supported the preservation and influenced President Teddy Roosevelt. I have included the web link to the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4M-Z12QRDwE
Yes! It is very true that while fulfilling our need we are destroying other animals and natural environment haphazardly. We should conserve what nature has given to us. The Earth's natural plants, animals and other resources are limited and if used extensively, they may get extinct over time. It has been found that many plant and animal species from this Earth are vanished due to lack of programs on conservation of them, Thus, we need to be very care while using forest resources, water resources and many other animals while consuming them. If we conserve them, then only our forth coming generation can see them and enjoy the beauty of nature and natural plants and animals. hence, we must protect and conserve our environmental and natural heritages.
