For a given conjugate acid -base pair Ka*Kb = Kw where Kw is ionic product of water = 1.0*10^-14 M2

Given that Kb of nitrite ion = 2.2*10^-11

Ka = Kw / Kb = 1.0*10^-14/(2.2*10^-11) = 0.00045454545 = 4.6*10^-4

But, pKa = -log(ka) = -log(4.6*10^-4) = 3.34 \approx 3.3

pKa of the nitrous acid(HNO2) is 3.3
