Hello, I am looking for help and an explanation for part c of this problem.

Assume that solutions of PhEt : PhH behave ideally.

a) Calculate the entropy of mixing if 40 g of PhEt is mixed into 50 g of PhH. --> 5.57 J/K

b) At room temperature (298K), what is delta G mix for mixing 40 g of PhEt and 50 f of PhH? --> -1.66 kJ

c) Would you notice a temperature change associated with the process in parts (a) and (b)? Hint: At 298K, the specific heat (Cp) of the mixture is about 1.75 J/K g )

We know, AG=4H-TAS 1461=1:66 KJz or - 166 X10% = 4H.- 298x5:57 =1066716J T = 298K or AH = 298x5.57-1.66810° 4s = 5:57J/K = -0
