This makes it easier to recognize any irregulars masses.Secondly, using the top pads of your fingers on the left hands, place them onyour right breast first and move your fingers in a circular motion.Thirdly, using three levels of pressure, use your fingers and use light pressure on tissue closest to the skin and firmer pressure to feel a little deeper.Next, move your fingers up and down starting by the underarms and endingat the middle of your sternum. This is said to be the most effective of all steps.Repeat all of these steps on the left breast.Then, stand in front of the mirror and look for any visual changes or lumps. While standing or sitting, raise your arm halfway and check the underarm for any lumps or irregular changes.
