Please explain the peaks. There is a benzene ring stretch at 3080cm-1 but what else?

NH2 NH2 NH2 NaOl ОН ОН OH 2-hydroxy-5-iodobenzamide 2-hydroxy-3-iodobenzamide lodination of salicylamide may result into two products due to +R effect of -OH and -R effect of C O(NH2) group IR: 3080: sp2 C-H stretching benzene ring C-H (not a benzene ring stretching!) Or it may be N-H stretching because it is a broad peak. 1750: C O stretching amide C=o 1608: aromatic ring CC stretching 1472: O-H bending 1353: C-H bending 1295: C-N stretching 1150: C-O stretching 955: 1,3,5-trisubstitution 531: C-I stretching Only from the IR spectrum it may be difficult to estimate which isomer is predominant product. We need NMR to predict exact compound. O
