Solubility of phenobarbital in

Water -1gm/L =1000mg/1000ml=1mg/ml(w/v)

and in alcohal -1gm/10ml=1000mg/10ml=100mg/ml

Required solubility is 10% hydro-alcohalic solution=

10% alcohal +90% water(10ml+90ml)=1000mg+90mg=1090mg/100ml

Or 109mg/10 ml or 10.9mg/ml
