Aufbau Principal : The subshell with minimum energy is filled up first and when this obtains maximum number of electrons , then the next subshell of higher energy starts filling .

Hence order of filling of various subshell

1s , 2s , 2p , 3s , 3p , 4s, 3d , 4p  

Hund's Rule : according to the this law , electrons are distributed among the orbital of a subshell in such way as to give the maximum number of unpaired electrons with parallel spin .

Pauli principal : two electron in an atom can not have same values of all four quantum numbers . If two electrons are present in an orbital , their spin should be oppsite .
