a)

i) y^ = 54.150 -1.738 p_level2 -9.4 level_3

ii)

intercept is 54.15 it means average sales is 54.150 for price level 1

-1.738 means sales for price_level2 is 1.738 less than that of price level 1

-9.4 means sales for level 3 is 9.4 less than that of level 1

iii)

p-value = 0.006712 {see last line of output}

p-value < alpha

hence

we reject the null hypothesis

there is significant difference in 3 levels

b)

df p_level = k - 1 = 3-1 , k is number of levels

df residuals = n-k-1 = 24 - 2 - 1 = 21

MS = SS/df

F = MS p_level/ MS residual
