Answer #1

1. Before setting an audit schedule , first of all I will take few sessions or classes on Coding . The major topics of concentration in the class would be the basics of coding ,the areas where the coding staff is getting troubled , the purpose of coding etc. Short sections of classes would be taken in multiple days according to the staffs convenience.

After taking the classes ,an audit monitoring will be scheduled which would be pre planned to look the after effects of the sessions and classes taken . It will help the staffs to enhance their knowledge ,know about their weak points , and for me to know about the present scenario in coding of patients .

After having the pre planned audit monitoring, after 1to 2 months ,a sudden audit session will be conducted to know the real changes occurred and the current status of coding .This is ensure whether the staffs are practicing the standards in their day to day practice and working according to the norms and protocols .

2. After conducting the audit , evaluation of the collected data will be done . Evaluation will be done individual based so that it helps each staff to improve and enhance in their profession . The drawbacks , the deviations from the norms etc will be discussed in the meeting post audit session involving all the staff so ,that they come to know where they stand in practice . Democratic leadership style would be used including all staffs and in charges and other authorities , mentioning the improvements done and what further enhancement has to be done . Certain objectives and goals are will be set to accomplish . These set objectives automatically improve the staffs efficiency and effort ,hence result in good outcomes .
