Create a thread and answer the following:

Given the following scenario:

Rest In Peace Properties (OTC: RIP) is hotel management company with 'unique' properties. RIP has a number of properties such as the Bates Inn and the The Timberline Lodge, as well as an Internet web site used for booking rooms and management of their frequent stayer rewards program.

1. Imagine you are going to help RIP with their data modeling. After reading chapter two, how would you go about the process?

2. Outline to others (that will read your post) what you might expect some of the Entities, Attributes, Relationships, and Constraints might be. Besides listing Entities and Attributes, express the relationships and constraints as business rules. Don't forget that relationships go two ways, e.g. A Customer generates many invoices. An invoice is generated by one customer, etc.

[Note, I don't expect this to be an exhaustive list, rather a reasonable first attempt with little to no knowledge of a this company. But like other businesses, you can make some reasonable assumptions here on basics that apply to just about any business.

1.As per data modelling,it is required to enlist the entities required for dataset. After getting the entities we have to find the relation between them. With all the entities we will arrange it in tables and perform normalization to make them in normal form.

2.As the hotel management business, there will be entities like customer, room, booking, login, bill.

We are using website for booking rooms,it will take login table which will have username and password as attributes.customer table will have customer name, address, contact number, date of check-in and date of check-out.Room table will have room number, room type as attributes.booking will have booking_id,booking_type.bill table consist of bill number, mode of payment, bill amount, date.

some relationships: customer logins website, customer books room, customer pays bills, room alloted to customer
