2) A proton attached to Electronegative atom, will have less electron density around it due to withdrawing effect of Electronegative atom and thus it is more exposed to external field and appear as downfield or high \delta value.

Since in B and E, circled protons are directly attached to oxygen thus they absorb at downfield as compared to A,C and D.

But in B), carbon of circled proton is attached to more carbons as compared in E) hence it hold electrons more tightly due to which electron density on proton is less than in E). Thus, circled proton in B is most downfield.
