In this case radius ratio comes under 0.414-0.732 category so it will fit in octahedral void

radius ratio for K+ ion with Cl-, F- and Br-

With Cl-

radius ratio = 1.34/1.72 = 0.779

With F-

radius ratio = 1.34/1.53 =0.875

With Br-

radius ratio = 1.34/1.82 = 0.736

In this case radius ratio comes under 0.732-1.00 category so it will fit in cubic void
