Answer #1

Answer is 1. Hypertrophy

Hypertrophy of muscle is growth and increase of the size of muscle cells. This commonly occurs with the heavy physical exercise and weightlifting.

Atrophy of muscle is loss of skeletal muscle that can be caused due to lack of exercise or aging or other reasons.

Angiogenesis is the formation of new blood vessels.

Mitosis is divisoin of cells. So weight lifting do not generally cause mitosis as there is increase in the size of the muscle cells not in the number of the cells.
