The team decides to put down a black mat outside her door because it looks like a black hole and will deter her from wandering. Justify whether this is ethical. Please explain why.

The caregivers need to install locks at tops of the door for not allowing them for wandering purposes and prevention to stop them going outside.

The patient’s gets irritation soon where the caregivers understand and need to change the topics at regular intervals while communicating with them.

The caregivers are required to take their care for themselves so that they can care their loved ones

Conclusion: The team decision according to the given situation was considered as ethical because anyone who has memory problems wandering outside alone is mostly dangerous. . Even in dementia early stages, a person can become disoriented or confused for a period of time. By keeping black mat outside her door can prevent her to stop going outside.
