When it is compared with early health care delivery system:

During 19th and 20 th century hospitals were not the places for treatment of mild ailments, extreme cases were only getting treated and admitted in the hospital settings.

But now because of advancement in technology, and many upgraded and powerful medications, equipments, number of beds , even a mild ailment is getting treated in hospital.

Nowadays more number of people are getting treated in hospital itself because of enormous increase in the number of hospitals and healthcare personnel throughout the country.

presently the healthcare is consuming 18% of the GDP when it is used to be only 5% during 90s.

due to purchasing unwanted and expensive medications ,equipments, generating excessive demand, immensely high payment of specialist to perform the ever growing complexity of procedures whose values are getting reduced everyday and their value is getting immensely neglected.

All the development and the rising in technology in medical field with ever growing demand has led hospital manage their expenses ineffectively.

The hospital expenses are rising because of the above mentioned reason and also because of government policies who are making their revenrev fall flat.

The alternate way to solve the situation are:

Ethical way

1. instead of investing excessively in building and infrastructures, they should invest in quality care to the patient their medications and procedures.

2. They should restrict themselves from redundant medical equipments.

3.productivity of healthcare workers should be analysed before placing them in the hospital.

4.hospitals have huge stock of data which we they can use for potential profitability.

5. scrutinizing the data can help them reducing cost and can be applied to all patients.

6. There should be an optimal layout for treating every kind of patient.
