speed of car = 95 km/hr = 26.389 m/s
Speed of truck = 75 km/hr = 20.833 m/s
distance between them = 210 m
let the car catch up with the truck after covering an additional distance = d in time =t
we, have.
time taken by car = time taken by truck
( d+ 210)/26.389 = d/20.833
20.833 d + 4374.93 = 26.389d
5.556 d = 4374.93
Distance d= 787.424 meters
Therefore time taken = t = 787.424/20.833 = 37.797 seconds
The car takes a time of 37.797 seconds to overtake the truck.

distance to cover=210m

time=distance/speed

=210/5.55=37.8 sec
