Lab values related to leukemia (how does leukemia show up in CBC) – wbc, h/h. rbc and platelets
when taking care of this patient what do we delegate as RNs?
please type :) thank you
leukaemia is the cancer found in the blood and bone
marrow.
It's caused by the rapid production of abnormal WBCs.
Leukaemia is diagnose by the bone marrow aspiration and by the
CBC,the cbs shows abnormal counts of WBC's,RBCs,platlets and
Hb.
WBC-low WBC's(normal value:-4000-11000/ml of blood)
RBC-low Rbcs(normal:-4.7-6.1million cells/ml of blood)
Platelets-low platlets(normal:-1,50,000-4,50,000/ml of blood)
Hb:-low hb(normal:-13.5-17.5gm/dl)
*patient's care of leukaemia:-
Due the decreased value of these blood cells counts problems
related to these, are main concerns these are following:-
Infection,bleeding,fatigue,Nutritional deficiencies.
1.Infection:-client became immunosuppressive cause of low
WBC's.
Nursing care:-Nurse should isolate the client and stricken hand
washing to all personnel and visitors
Prohibited use of fresh fruits vegetables and flowers to protect
from exposure to micro organisms.
2.Bleeding:- due to extreme low counts of Platlets.
Nursing care:-
Handle the client gently to prevent from any injury and
bleeding.
Avoid any invasive procedures.
3.Fatigue:- due to low RBCs and Hb
Nursing care:-
Provide high calorie, high protein, high carbohydrated diet.
Provide diet which increase the Hb level
*Oral care is also important to the client to prevent the stasis
of secreations and to protect the respiratory infections.
*Skin care should be provided timely to prevent from infections and
sores.

is a set of input values, Y- 2. In this question, we reuse the notation of lecture 37: X-{xi, ,x , m-1) is a set of hash values, and H is an [X → Y)-valued random variable {0.1, In lecture, we showed that for any hash value y e Y, the expected number of input values that hash to y is k/m, where k XI and m Yl. However, in determining the time it...
