We can't use induction to prove facts but we can get close to proving it. It reasoning involves drawing conclusions from facts( using logic). The initial facts are often based on generalizations and statistics

It implies that a conclusion is most likely to be true, even if that is not certain. For that reason, evidence can rarely be considered certain.
