Concepts and reason

This problem is based on the concept of Diels alder reaction.

Diels-alder reaction is a cycloaddition reaction. It is also called 4+2 cycloaddition which occurs between a conjugated diene and an alkene (dienophile), usually a substituted alkene. This reaction is a concerted reaction which bond breaking and bond making takes place in single step and there is no intermediate formation involved.
