The problem is based on the concept of NMR.
NMR is an analytical technique which is used for the structural analysis of the compounds.
Nuclei has spin and when magnetic field is applied, it aligns itself either in the direction or against the direction of magnetic field and shows signals in the NMR spectra. The NMR spectra is the plot of intensity and frequency with reference to TMS. This spectra is measured in the radiofrequency region.
Part A
UV/Visible spectrum is plotted between absorbance and wavelength. IR spectrum is plotted between %transmittance and wavenumber. Therefore, the spectrum do not represent UV/Visible or IR spectroscopy.
The graph belongs to the NMR spectroscopy because it shows chemical shift and signal intensity.
Part B
Ultraviolet and visible light is associated with the UV/Vis spectrum. Infrared radiation is used in the IR spectrum.
NMR spectroscopy is associated with the absorption of electromagnetic radiation in the radio frequency region. Therefore, radio waves are associated with the peaks in the spectrum.
Part C
In the IR spectroscopy, the vibrational frequency of bond is measured. The absorption wavelength related to an excited electron state is measured in the UV/Visible spectroscopy.
Nucleus are the charged particle and can flip in the magnetic field. In the NMR spectroscopy method, the frequency that causes a nucleus to flip its spin is measured.
Ans: Part AThe spectrum is NMR.
Part BThe spectrum is associated with the radio waves electromagnetic radiation.
Part CThe frequency that causes a nucleus to flip its spin is measured in the NMR spectroscopic method.

Indicate which of the following statements about the electromagnetic spectrum and IR spectroscopy are true and which are false. In any cases where the statement is false, explain how or why the statement is false. Infrared (IR) light is in the gamma ray part of the electromagnetic spectrum. Electromagnetic radiation is characterized by its mass and force. UV-Vis spectra are normally scanned in the 4000-600 cm-1 region. Radiation in the radiofrequency region of the electromagnetic spectrum for use in NMR is often described in terms of frequency, in units of MHz. One common example is 1H resonance frequency at 2.35T, which is 100.0MHz (1.000 x 108Hz). Calculate the values of its angular frequency (ω) in rad/s or s-1, wavenumber (ν̅ ) in cm-1, wavelength (λ) in m, and energy (E) in J.
