Follow the reverse process

A minor third is a musical interval that encompasses three half steps. So three half steps above E1 is G1. (E1 - F1 - F#1-G1)

One octave higher of G1 is G2.

One octave higher of G2 is G3.

Hence lowest note on a violin is G3.

E1 corresponds to 41.2 Hz and G3 corresponds to 196 Hz

So their ratio E1/G3 = 41.2/196 \approx 1/5
