1) Purpose of advertising is to create a promotion or an awareness about the product or service or company. This is to reach out with potential consumers and to create a positive perception. This is to generate demand for such product or service which will create sustainable value.

2) False.
Advertising has been expanded from print media to electronic media such as TV, websites and now to even social media.
Print media is expensive when other avenues like social media are creating a huge reachable audience. Facebook itself has more than 1 billion users. This has altered how advertisement is made and it is not only restricted to print media.

3) False.
Copywriters tend to work for ad agencies as these big agencies have big clients because of their reputation. However, copywriters work as a freelancer also.

4) True.
It completely depends upon the situation. If there is a big contract then obviously there will be a team to handle it or to look into each minute aspect. There will be experts in psychology, consumer behavior, and even legal matters.
If the project is not big enough then individual also can handle that.
