answer: remember here magnet is moving and conducting metallic tube is fixed :

now let's talk about its direction:

1.if falling magnet is going downwards then in LOOP above the magnet the current direction should be in clockwise direction because when magnet is going downwards its magnetic lines which passed through upper hypothetical loop surely decreases : so in order to oppose this the current should be in clockwise direction and attractive force will be downwards.

2. similar thing you can apply for lower loop > as magnet goes down >magnetic lines passes through lower loop will increase >loop will oppose >counter clockwise current >force downwards .
