The two blocks in the figure(Figure 1) are connected by a massless rope that passes over a pulley. The pulley is 14 cm in diameter and has a mass of 3.0 kg As the pulley turns, friction at the axle exerts a torque of magnitude 0.53 N.m.

We have given the mass of pulley= 3Kg.

Diameter of the pulley = 14cm so radius will be 7cm.

Due to the of mass 4kg there will be a tension on pulley of left side so due to 2kg of mass another tensional force will be there on pulley on right. there will net tension along left will produce the torque on pulley. Net torque = I (alpha) () where alpha is angular acceleration , and moment of inertia of the pulley will be
