Question

Suppose a rod of rest length L travels with speed 0.90c along the x-axis toward a garage of length L/2 (both lengths being in the x direction). 1. What is the length of the rod in the frame of the garage? Will it fit inside the garage? 2. Suppose once the rod is inside the garage, the garage door closes. What happens? Is possible for the rod and the garage to be infinitely strong, so that neither breaks?
