Answer #1

Answer;

3) a) Y = √K* √(EL)

Per capita effective output, y` = Y/EL

y` = √k`

k `= K/EL

So in steady state

sy` = (d+n+g)k`

s√k` = .25k`

.2/.25 =√ k`

k*` = .64

y*` = .8

c*` = (1-s)*y`

= .8*.8

= .64

b)growth in per capita output =

y = Y/L = y`*E

gy= gy` + gE

= 0 + 0

So growth rate is zero
