Given that,

i)

Given that "g" denotes the mass of gas absorbed per unit area of surface and "p" is the gas pressure.

The given relation between the variables are as follows:

S +p Now dividing both the sides withp we have: 1 S np n 1 1 np g n |S.

So, from the above we can say that:

On the X-axis we will plot (1/p)

On the Y-axis we will plot (1/g)

From the graph the value of the Y-intercept will give the estimate of (s/n) and the value of the gradient or slope will give the estimate of (1/n)

So, 1/slope = n and Y-intercept/slope = s
